The opportunity given to students by IILM as well as the benefits of studying at this institute.

 

IILM is an institute that caters to the needs of every students dream. It contributes to the development of a students mindset to becoming an achiever in life. It gives an intellectual and interactive environment for studies and co – curricular activities. Its unique quality is the freedom and motivation given to students to express their ideas. There are various reasons why one should come to IILM. One's Creativity and thoughts are what should be presented and this is the right platform for it. The campus, crowd and living of the institute is itself enough to attract students.

 

IILM provides its students with the following opportunities:-

 

1.       Taking part in quizzes, debates and other academically challenging contests.

2.       There are various societies that you can be a part of. IILM has a dance society called black. Here basketball is also a sport of interest among the students.

3.       Frequent visits to industries which are educational as well as an enjoyable experience.

4.       Participation in inter-college cultural programs.

5.       Top job placements are another opportunity given to the students.    

 

The benefit of studying in IILM is the degree of Bradford University that it offers you. The teaching involves interaction between teachers and students, class discussions and practical findings. The faculty of IILM is highly qualified and hence benefits the students in various ways. Hence as mentioned earlier an IILM experience is indeed a fulfilling one.

IILM at glance

In Persian Language IILM or 'ilm' means  'knowlegde '

      

I think is the apt title that can define my college( at least at academic level!!!!!).

 I feel IILM is a gr8 platform to earn knowlegde and expereince and procure noteworthy position in highly competitive corporate world.

 

Well, before u start nagging yourselves, thinking'......  what makes IILM so expectional.

     I will  explain u all!!!!!!!!

 

 

Actually its teaching methodology( the way makes us picturize the real world of business!!!!)

 

Well the alloted procedure of  our class sessions are segmented as follows:

 

LECTURE:     Interaction session among teachers, students and blackboard.

                  We have study material on our official blackboard site.

 

Sudents prepares notes and later discuss with professors in lecture sessions.

And a healthy discussion goes on........

 

TUTORIALS:  The whole class is divided into groups and seperate tutorials sessions areheld, where students discusses his/ her doubts about the subject.

 

I must say it like regular college plus an in- house tution facility for embarking knowlegde in each student.

 

It's like the finishing over a polished dimonds(students). So, we shine out brightly when we out to our real owner( business world).

 

This itself sketches a picture how IILM prepares great business learners and leaders both!!!!!!!!

Sneak-Peek in ug 1

IILM UG1 is indeed an amalgam of characters. We all come from various backgrounds but when in the class room things seem perfect. Bringing to the table our cultural differences and experiences we are indeed a different lot. SO in order to understand us better I bring you a mini introduction session to some of our class of 2011.As for the rest, it’s for you guys to discover them….

 

Aakash Devgan: A hidden singer and a chronic backbencher.

Ankur: The basketball dude with talents of singing and dancing and a great taste in music.

Anuj: The Chandigarh dude , completely laidback and chilled out. You will love his Bhangra.

Ritvik: The innocent and sweet guy. Always there to help and talk to.

Abeer: Mr. A-BEER, stylish and chilled out.

Akhil: Mr.Gummy bear, toddling his way through. This guy is blessed with an amazingly chilled out attitude.

Abshiek Goswami: This swami is always rearing to GO…..GO-SWAMI…

Adhiraj: Excellent basketballer , and a great talker, truly the entertainer of the class.

Jantin dhingra: Impeccable with current affairs and always updated.

Simran: Miss. Stylish, she sits on the first bench and actually studies unlike most people. We are proud of you Simran J

Chaitanya: They call him “Chatty”, thought he is not ALL that chatty, but is smart.

Daksh: Mr.DUCKS, the sweet one. Can drive any teacher into splits of laughter.

Sonakshi: As the class progresses her concentration not only impresses the teachers and other but also her occasional sense of humor is something not worth missing.

Urvashi: The innocent Piscean. This girl forms the brains of the class.

Srishti Pandey: The dancing queen at the same time a proclaimed nerd. Without her half the class won’t give their online quizzes.

Mrinalini: Mirlu , the soul of her group  and a great mimic.

Kalai: His dancing skills can intimidate even a lion. This suave Malaysian can sweep anyone off their feet with his sweetness.

Nabeela: The shy and quiet one but can laugh the loudest.lol

Sahiba: The Jalandhar di kudi with loads of guts and a straight ace attitude.

Manan:  The in class singer, starts singing when Ma’am begins to speak.

Abhimanyu: Truly the decent boy.

Garima: Won a scholarship and made us all proud by representing IILM J

Suniya: The Honk Kong cutie. She has her head on her shoulders and her Indianess intact.

Tarang: Miss.Jaipur, who has a heart of gold. Mostly away in Jaipur but enlightens the class with her presence.

Ankita: The quiet girl, but little people know about her extrovert side.

Siddharth: The business analyst in the making. Well might not become an analyst exactly but something in that category and with his passion for international matters will make NRIs proud for sure.

Chirag: Lightens the atmosphere around with his chilled out presence and his bright smile.

Yang: the one with the best smile and the best attitude.

Jennifer: She works hard for everything without fail, possessing very admirable qualities.

Kim: People love him for his mast attitude but at the same time this guy knows when to back it up and get serious.

Rahul Gairola: Right out of the dancing streets, this guy is immensely talented and smart. Can bowl over any teacher with his questions in the middle of a lecture.

Varun yadav: This guy can be quiet but smart when he decides to make a statement.

Rishabh: The most talented snake dancer and comes up with the best one liners.

Divij: Mr.Special Appearance. Comes to college once in a while but has a striking presence. One of the most multi talented people. 

Pranav: A magical (jaadu) personality and is immensely funny. Want some tummy aching one liners guys?

Vivhvajeet: Usually quiet, but seems to catch up during the class.

Mayuri: The smart and the academically dependable one.

These were some of my fellow classmates. I hope you enjoyed reading this column as much as I enjoyed writing it for you guys. Again, none of this is intentionally offensive, it’s all meant to be in good taste as WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!!!!!!.

'Black'

The rated as one of the top B-colleges that is Integrated Institute of learning and management, more known as IILM.  Our college not only concentrates on academic, we also concentrates on extra co-curricular activities. There are few societies on our college but there are main 2 societies on our college that made a very good performance and achievements, that is the dance society known as ‘BLACK’ and the basketball society.  The dance society made a very good achievement for past 3 years and they still maintaining their reputation and keeps growing their talent and passion for dance each and every time they perform on the stage. The society’s member practice at least 3 times a week and increase the day of the practice when the competition comes nearer. The main motive of the black is to perform their best every time they go on the stage and to show their passion on dance. The basketball society has a very good reputation on our college. Recently there are match between the UG students, for the all 3 years students. All of them really showed a very good spirit of sports and the unity between the team members. All the faculties even spend their time to come and support the students out there for them to perform their best. Some of the students been selected to represent our college to play at inter college level. The students also spend some time after their classes for practice at the basketball court.  This shows that our college not only focuses on the academically only. All the faculty members try their level best to motivate the students to do their level bet on both studies and other extra co-curricular activities. The faculties try to make more societies on our college so other students also can show their talent on college level or higher than that. Kalaiarasan - ug 1

ultimate bonding btwn students and faculty

IILM is a place where every student is different from each other but still there is one thing common in all of us and that is the bond which we develop with the teachers after coming to IILM. This strong and emotional bond helps us to become more interactive in and out of the classroom. Simmilarly, supportive and caring relations between students and faculty help to promote academic achievement. The faculty formed more critical and close-knit bonds with us this not only increases academic motivation, but also helps us to develop as good human beings.

I don’t know how many of you will agree with me but I really think that our faculty makes studies much more interactive and interesting to learn. They are always ready to help us no matter how big or small our problem is. Our faculties know about the strengths and weakness of every student and according to that they try to motivate them. Our class room lectures are very interesting because of to the two way communication that means we are free to put up our queries and the teachers are also more than willing to answer them. They ask us for constant feedback so that they can alter their teaching style to make us understand the subject. We also have mentoring sessions with our faculty. This is a one to one discussion between the students and their respective mentors. Where teachers can give feedback about the student’s performance and also the student can talk about the problems which they might be facing.

Well I think this strong bonding will help all students of IILM to achieve success in life.
